Jessica Dawn Tanner Goodwin, age 43, of Broxton, passed away on Thursday June 20, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Tanner was born on September 7, 1975 in Coffee County, the daughter of Eloise Toliver Goodwin and the late Buford Ray Goodwin.

She worked as a self-employed painter and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Goodwin.

Survivors include her mother, Eloise T. Goodwin of Broxton; daughter, Erica Crenshaw of West Green; son, Daniel Ray Crenshaw of Douglas; eight grandchildren, D J Crenshaw, Joanna Carranza, Violet Guess, Raylen Bowen, Kaylen Bowen, Breella Spivey, Nyron Shaw and Morgan Taylor; three brothers, Robert Stone of Deland, Fla., Timothy Goodwin of Broxton, and Anthony Goodwin of Broxton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday June 24, 2019 at 11 am at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Lowell Burkett officiating. Interment will follow at Cumorah Cemetery. 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
