Mr. Charles Wilson “Chuck” Knight, Jr. age 35 of Ambrose, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 17, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Candler Health System in Savannah following an extended illness. Mr. Knight was born February 13, 1984 to Charles W. Knight, Sr. and Sandra McCallum Knight. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Parker, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Oscar and Pearl McCallum; and his paternal grandparents, Jeffie and Nora Mathews.

Mr. Knight, a native of Coffee County, was a farmer. He was a former deputy of Ben Hill County Sheriff’s Office. He was member of Deberry Baptist Church. 

Survivors include: His parents, Charles W. Knight, Sr. and Sandra McCallum Knight of Ambrose; fiancée Christina Aguilar of Ambrose; sisters Dede Childers of Ocilla and
Cheri Hart of Blackshear; nieces and nephews Latasha Dorminey of Ambrose, Samantha Albritton of Douglas, Jenifer Giddens and Morgan Lindsey, both of Fitzgerald, Jade Tanner of Tifton, and Ryan Tanner of Nicholls; nine great nieces and great nephews; and his beloved puppy, BJ.

The funeral service was Sunday afternoon, July 21, 2019, at 3:00 P.M. at Deberry Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Dean officiating. The interment followed in Deberry Cemetery.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
