Mr. Carl Edward Beecher kept a scheduled appointment with Jesus at 11:00 P.M. on August 3, 2019. He arrived on time, never wanting to be late. Mr. Beecher was born March 11, 1938 to the late Frank Beecher and the late Bell Smith Beecher. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Beecher. 

Mr. Beecher, a native of Coffee County, was a farmer. He was a member of Harvest Time Church of God. 

Survivors include: His wife, Joann Anderson Beecher of Wray; children David Beecher of St. Augustine, Fla., Brad Beecher of Douglas, Bryce Beecher of Tampa, Fla., Bryan Sizemore of Aiken, S.C., and Kris Sizemore of Aiken, S.C.; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

The graveside service and interment will be Wednesday morning, August 7, 2019 at 8:00 A. M. at DeBerry Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Glen Fussell and Rev. Donald Burke officiating.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
