Mr. Walter “Waldo” Paul, Jr. age 78 of Ambrose, passed away Monday evening, August 19, 2019, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Paul was born February 26, 1941 to the late Walter T. Paul and the late Nellie Roberts Paul. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Dave Paul and Harvey Paul.

Mr. Paul had been employed by Waldron Farm Supply where he spread fertilizer. He attended Calvary Holiness Church, Lax Holiness Church and New Hope Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his daughter Mylet and family, siblings Glenda and Ira Sharpe and family of Douglas and Troy C. Paul and family of Douglas; special great niece Annlee Padgett of McRae; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The memorial service will be Friday morning, August 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Carroll Carver and Rev. Stanley Carver officiating. The inurnment will follow at a later date.

The family will receive friends, Friday morning, August 23, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
