Ms. Juanita Hall Watson, age 94 of Douglas, passed away Sunday morning, September 8, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Watson was born August 13, 1925 to the late Lee Otis Hall and the late Madell Higgs Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Watson; sons Tony Watson and Carrol Watson; siblings Evelyne Evans, Leroy Hall and Bill Hall.

Ms. Watson, a native of Cook County, was a homemaker. She was a member of New Griffin Baptist Church and she also attended Rocky Pond Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Daughter Janice Taylor of Douglas; grandchildren Jana Merritt and husband Joe, Michael Taylor and wife Michelle, Jackie Watson, Tina Foskey and husband Calvin, Darren Watson, Tammy Seawright and husband Gary, Albert Watson and wife Carla, Tonya Bush and husband Brian, all of Douglas; siblings Carolyn Griffin of Alapaha, Earl Hall and wife Evelyn of Nashville, Ernest Hall and wife Ouida of Nashville, Irma Folsom and husband Rowland of Adel; 16 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The graveside service and interment will be Tuesday morning, September 10, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Alapaha with Rev. Larry Stone officiating.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
