Mr. Ted Lynn Adams, age 66 of Douglas, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 1, 2019 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald following an extended illness. Mr. Adams was born December 31, 1952 to the late William Chester Adams and the late Fronna Bell Chauncey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Mason Adams.

Mr. Adams, a native of Coffee County, was self-employed as a tree surgeon. He attended Covenant Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife June Solomon Adams of Douglas; children Jason Duren and Stacey Adams, both of Douglas, and Candace Bracewell and husband Justin of Broxton; grandchildren Maggie Bracewell and Callie Bracewell, both of Broxton, and River Adams of Douglas; sister-in-law Runell Adams of Covington; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The graveside service and interment will be Friday afternoon, October 4, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at Broxton City Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Pope officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, October 4, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
