Mrs. Nadine Hattaway Foster

Mrs. Nadine Hattaway Foster, age 74 of Nicholls, passed away late Tuesday evening, October 8, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Foster was born October 3, 1945 to the late Harvel Hattaway and the late Lizzie Hart Hattaway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Edward Hattaway, Orbie Harden and Eleanor “Doodle” Joiner.

Mrs. Foster was retired from Walmart where she had been a clerk for 33 years.

Survivors include: Her husband of 54 years, Monroe Foster of Nicholls; son David Foster and wife Eva of Nicholls; grandson Cory Foster and wife Tori of Nicholls; siblings Donny Hattaway and wife Dorothy of Brunswick, Oweeda Moore of Douglas, Jimmy Hattaway and wife Faye of Surrency, and Margie Griffin and husband Emmett of Bartow, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service was Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Kirkland officiating. The interment followed in Chatterton Cemetery.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
