Paid for by the Tony Paulk for Mayor campaign

Citizens of Douglas, this is our moment!  I humbly ask for your prayers, support, and vote.  Public service is a heart issue.  My public service as a Veteran of the U.S. Army (retired), federal employee, and Mayor of Douglas equals over 40 years of public service.  I was born and raised in Douglas.  I recognize that being the Mayor of Douglas is an honor.  It is an honor that has grown into a heart issue and very personal.  As the Mayor of Douglas, I have only one goal.  “Do All the Good You Can For All the People You Can.”

As the Mayor of Douglas, our City continues to grow and accept new challenges.  I am honored and humbled to serve as a member of the governing body for the City of Douglas.

  • Over 5 million to improve Douglas-Coffee County Parks and Recreation
  • Trusted leadership during hurricane season
  • Great working relationship with our County Government
  • Tax Allocation District (TAD): New shopping center for Chick-fil-a, Marshall’s, Cookout, Starbucks, and Hobby Lobby is on the ballot
  • 4-lane by pass completed ahead of schedule
  • Teen Court provides youth a second chance for first time misdemeanor charges
  • Mayor’s Youth Council provides exposure to City Government (Jr. Mayor and Jr. Commissioners)
  • Industries expansion, New small businesses
  • New City Hall, New City Pool, Miracle Field, and New Utilities Building
  • Updating Parks and Recreation at Jardin Stadium by adding 3 new football fields and 4 or 5 new baseball fields
  • NO new Taxes and NO increase in utility rate
  • Golf Cart Friendly City
  • Balanced Budgets every year and Transparent Government
  • Member of Economic Development Authority
  • Improvements to utilities: Utility Hawk allows you to monitor your usage in real time, $10 discount to citizens, budget billing, New Utility Logo, easier to read utility statement, and pay as you go

Citizens of Douglas, this is our moment.  Please vote for Mayor Tony Paulk.  Let’s share this moment together.
