Mrs. Judy Ann Wells Lopez, age 64, of Douglas, passed away Friday evening, November 8, 2019 at St. Josephs/Candler Health System in Savannah following an extended illness. Mrs. Lopez was born November 19, 1954 to the late John Wells and the late Marjorie Garling Wells. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Wells and Mark Wells.

Mrs. Lopez, native of Rochester, NY, had been employed with Tecumseh Engine Company in general labor.

Survivors include: Her husband, Hector Lopez of Douglas; children Eric Lopez and wife Dana Lopez of Douglas, Jennifer Spivey and husband Scott Spivey of Douglas, and Heather McGovern and husband Justin McGovern of Pearson; brothers John Wells of Lima, NY, and Frank Wells of Bloomfield, NY; grandchildren: Chase Styles of Douglas, Millynnia Lopez of Douglas, Nikerra Young of Douglas, Jayden McGovern of Pearson, Kaylin McGovern of Pearson, and Parker McGovern of Pearson; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends .

The funeral service will be Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 3 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Don Lott officiating and Jennifer Spivey presenting a eulogy. The interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
