Mr. Thomas Henry Hendrix, Jr., age 95 of Douglas, passed away early Saturday morning, November 16, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mr. Hendrix was born March 7, 1924 to the late Thomas Henry Hendrix, Sr. and the late Nadine Douglass Hendrix.

Mr. Hendrix, a native of Mexia, Texas, was a retired civil engineer with AT&T. He was a member of the Masons and he also attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. Hendrix was also a veteran of the US Navy having served during World War II.

Survivors include his spouse, Neal DeLoach of Douglas; two nephews and a niece of Douglas; one nephew of Blackshear; children Paul Hendrix and Nancy Wright, both of Texas, and Barbara Carroll of Florida; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several cousins and a host of friends.

There will be a private memorial service and inurnment at a later date in Orlando, Fla.
