Elsie Nora Mobley Taylor, age 93, of Douglas, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at Vista Park. Mrs. Taylor was born on December 22, 1925, in Wray to the late John B. Mobley and Nancy Viola Day Mobley.

 

Survivors include: Three daughters, Teresa (George) Burke of Wray, Miriam (Ken) Corbitt of Broxton, Betty Long of Douglas; son Roy Glenn (Regina) Taylor of Wray; grandchildren Monica Watson, Karen Medders, Kimberly Moore, Amy Sears, Tracey Burke, Jason Burke, Hunter and  Walker Taylor; great-grandchildren Alisa Arnold, Erica Medders, Kalie  Torres, Rylee Burke, Blake Moore, Ansley Miller and Dawson Sears; great-great-grandchildren Kree Moore and  Beckhum Torres.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Roy Taylor; sister Betty Welsh; brother Jack D. Mobley, and one great-grandchild, Dani Lynn Sears.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Den Weniger officiating.

 

Interment will follow in Taylor Family Cemetery, 409 Ernest Pridgen Road, Wray, GA. 

 

The family will receive friends Friday, December 13, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
