Kent began her career with CSRA Probation Services as a probation officer in 1999. She was the company’s third employee and helped oversee the opening of CSRA Probation’s second location. She became a regional manager in 2003 and took over at director of operations in 2007.

“As a result of our company’s phenomenal growth, development of new technologies and new opportunities, I’m happy to announce that Ginny Kent is going to become our new CEO,” Popplewell said. “I know she is going to do a wonderful job because she already has as COO. I am excited about the opportunity that our company has to move forward in the criminal justice field.”

Kent said she is honored to have been selected for the position. “As CEO, I intend to continue the growth and success our company has seen. At CSRA Probation Services, our core mission is to make a difference in the lives of those we supervise,” she said. “We want them to come out of the probation experience better than when they began. As CEO, I intend to continue to use innovative programs and new technologies to help facilitate client success.”
