Ms. Cathy M. Hancock, age 62 of Broxton, passed away early Saturday morning, February 22, 2020, at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Hancock was born February 23, 1957 to the late Raymond L. McDonald and the late Christine Conley McDonald. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Kenneth McDonald, Peggy A. Smith, Diane Pina and Hana L. Vazquez.

Ms. Hancock, a native of Sylvester, had made her life in Broxton. She was a truck driver with Southern Ag. She was also a devoted mother and nana to her beloved children and grandchildren. They were her life. Among her hobbies, she loved gardening and birds. Ms. Hancock was a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Daughters, Rachel Roberts, Toni Roberts and fiancée Collins McDaniel and Kandi Hancock, all of Broxton, GA; grandchildren, Tayon Wimberly, Natalie Wimberly, Brandon High and Cameron High, all of Broxton, GA; sister Melanie Grimes of Tifton, GA; brother Raymond E. McDonald of Broxton, GA; great nephew Jesus Riano of Broxton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 2:00 P. M. at Deberry Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Cox officiating. The interment will follow in Deberry Cemetery.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
