Mr. Michael Samuel Worth, age 56 of Douglas, passed away Wednesday morning, March 4, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Worth was born August 31, 1963 to the late Johnny J. Worth and the late Latrell Hersey Worth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffery Worth and Richard Worth.

Mr. Worth was a native of Titusville, FL. He was a training instructor with Unison Behavioral Health Center. Mr. Worth was a member of Wray Holiness Baptist Church.

Survivors include: His wife, Betty Lou Setters Worth of Douglas; son Samuel Worth of Douglas; daughter Charlotte Worth of Douglas; sisters Janice Purvis and husband Rev. Clyde of Pearson, Deborah Worth of Douglas, and Jeannie Pittman and husband Michael of Douglas; special friend Gene Brown of Douglas; step-sisters Rosie Merritt, Sylvia Prescott and Debra Ansel, all of
Douglas; step-brother Roger Prescott of Douglas; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Wray Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Willingham officiating. The interment will follow in Wray Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, March 6, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
