The class hours will be from 6 pm to approximately 8 pm every Thursday night beginning April 16th through June 4. Some of the topics covered will be: Police Department Structure, Crime Scene Processing, Family Violence, Juvenile law, Gangs, Evidence Procedures, Patrol Operations, Use of Force, Firearms Training, Internal Affairs, Complaint process, Disciplinary process, and participants will conduct a ride along with an officer during the course.

You do not have to be a resident of Douglas to attend this course. It is open to all citizens over 18 years of age. Class maximum will be 20 participants; minimum will be 12.
