In preparation for the 2020-2021 school year, Coffee County Schools has been busy attending teacher job fairs on various college and university campuses that offer teacher preparation programs.

This Saturday, March 14, the school district will be holding its annual job fair from 9:00 – noon on the campus of Coffee High School. All of the elementary, middle and high school system administrators will be present to conduct informal interviews.

The school system is interested in interviewing applicants from all teaching fields, with special emphasis in the

area of General Curriculum and Adaptive Special Education, Early Childhood, Middle Grades and Secondary Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts.  All interested applicants, who are certified in the state of Georgia or out of state; those eligible for certification through alternative certification or those who will graduate in the spring and are eligible for certification are cordially invited to attend.

In preparation for the job fair, applicants are asked to bring several copies of their resume to share with the administrators. It is also highly recommended that applicants complete an on-line application with the district prior to the job fair by going to the system website, coffee.k12.ga.us and selecting the word Employment.

If you currently hold a four-year degree in another area outside of education and are interested in becoming a teacher, information will be provided at the job fair.

If you have any questions, you may call the Coffee County Board of Education, 384-2086, Ext. 6503.
