Ricky Corbitt, age 55, of West Green, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Corbitt was born on July 11, 1964 in Coffee County, Georgia the son of Gladys Irene Deaton Corbitt and the late Steve D. Corbitt.

Mr. Corbitt worked as a farmer with McKinnon Farms.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Corbitt Myers.

Survivors include his wife, Anita L. Corbitt of West Green, GA; two sons, James Allen Corbitt (Jessica) of Nicholls, GA and Richard Daniel Corbitt of West Green, GA; mother, Irene Corbitt of West Green, GA; two sisters, Nina Faye Corbitt (Roberto) of West Green, GA and Brenda Kay Smith of West Green, GA; two brothers, Glenn Corbitt (Regina) of Snipesville, GA and Danny Corbitt (Kathy) of West Green, GA; two grandchildren, Ricky Daniel “BayBay” Corbitt and James Daniel “Toota” Corbitt; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services are pending and will be announced soon.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Sims Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
