Jacquelyn C. Tarrance, age 77, of West Green, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Mrs. Tarrance was born on January 11, 1943 in Coffee County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Martin Courson and the late Malonee Wood Courson.

Mrs. Tarrance was retired from the Coffee County Board of Education as the manager of the food and nutrition area and was a member of West Green Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Touchton David Tarrance; son, David M. Tarrance; sister, Geneva Lee; and a brother, Carroll Courson.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Jac-Tarrance Deen (Bruce) of West Green, GA; granddaughter, Hannah Tribble (Zach) of West Green, GA; step-grandson, Brayden Tribble of Milledgeville, GA; special friends Wesley Kight and Stephanie Smith of West Green, GA; special granddaughter, Leann Kight of West Green, GA; special family, Olin and Stacia Greer and their children, Bryce, Abby, Lexy and Tyler, all of Waycross, GA; daughter-in-law, Arlene Poquette (Greg) of Atlanta, GA; sister, Bonnie Jowers (Ray) of Broxton, GA; brother, Earl Courson (Brenda) of Adel, GA; two sisters-in-laws, Ivylyn Townsen of Jacksonville, FL and Evylyn Tarrance of West Green, GA; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, March 20, 2020 from 6pm until 9pm at West Green Church of God, 7970 George Deen Rd.,West Green, GA 31567.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 2:00pm at West Green Church of God with Pastor Tim Hicks, Rev. Olin Greer, Rev. Justin Moriarty and Rev. Hugh Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Burkett Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to, West Green Church of God Building Fund, 7970 George Deen Rd., West Green, GA 31567.
