Junk drop off for April 4 cancelled

The City of Douglas and Transwaste’s residential Junk Drop-Off Day, scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2020 has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.  At the current time, the next tentative date will be Saturday, April 18, 2020 at the City Pole Yard located at 670 S. Pearl Avenue from 8:30am-noon, however that may change due to COVID-19.  Other tentative drop-off dates for 2020 are as follows: May 2 and 16, June 6 and 20, July 18, Aug. 1 and 15, Sept. 5 and 19, Oct. 3 and 17, Nov. 7 and 21, and Dec. 5 and 19, 2020.
