Brenda June Riddle Stubblefield, of Kingsport, TN and Douglas, GA, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Preston Place II.

She was born on September 18, 1946, in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of the late Rev. Roy Flay Riddle and the late Barbara June Rankin Riddle.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-two years, Guy Lewis Stubblefield, Jr. of Kingsport, TN; Elise Stubblefield Egan (Michael) of Kingsport, TN; son, Rob Stubblefield (Kelly) of Pensacola, FL; granddaughter Ella Egan and grandson, Chris Egan of Kingsport, TN; granddaughters, Tyler and Brooke Stubblefield of Pensacola, FL; brother, Roy Flay Riddle, Jr. (Sherry) of Belmont, NC and their son, Daniel Clawson; brother, Mark Rankin Riddle of Louisville, KY.

Brenda was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Douglas, GA and a former Deacon, Elder, teacher and choir member.

Brenda attended South Georgia College and the Atlanta School of Dental Assistants. She was a self-employed interior decorator and counselor to many homemakers and businesses across South Georgia and was associated with Nellie’s Interiors and Unique Interiors of Douglas, GA.

Funeral services will be held in Douglas, GA after the coronavirus subsides.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 407 East Ward Street, Douglas, GA 31533.

The care of Brenda June Riddle Stubblefield and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Oak Hill Funeral & Cremation Services.
