Denise Helen Bazemore, age 38, of Pearson, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Ms. Bazemore was born on September 25, 1981 in Coffee County, Georgia, the daughter of Helen Stone Bazemore and the late Robert Lee Bazemore.

Ms. Bazemore worked as a massage therapist.

Survivors include her mother, Helen Stone Bazemore of Douglas, GA; brother, Marcus Jesse Bazemore of Douglas, GA; two nieces, Emmalee Roberts (Bobby) of Douglas, GA and Jasmine Bazemore of Douglas, GA.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Douglas City Cemetery with Floyd Tanner giving the eulogy. Pallbearers will be Marlon Smith, Bobby Roberts, Kasey Hersey, Jeff Waldron, Doug Hughes, Daryl Smith and Tony Oliver. Due to the current coronavirus outbreak attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the Coronavirus, including social distancing of six feet separation.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests please make donations to Sims Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
