Mrs. Emilia R. Rivera De Arias, age 80 of Douglas, passed away late Monday evening, May 18, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. De Arias was born August 8, 1939 to the late Teofilo Rivera and the late Lusia Ozorio.

 

Mrs. De Arias, a native of Guerrero, Mexico, was a homemaker.

 

Survivors include: Husband Pedro Arias of Douglas, GA; children Tules Arias of Michigan, Tavo Arias of Texas, Julia Arias of Pearson, GA, Laca Arias of Douglas, GA, Irma Arias of Mexico, Raquel Arias of Douglas, GA, Francisco Arias of Texas, Telvina Aria of Atlanta, GA, Pedro Arias of Texas, and Carlos Arias of Douglas, GA; brother Ezequiel Taledo; sister Ever Taledo; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

The graveside service and interment will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 5:30 P.M. at Satilla Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Satilla Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 4:30 P.M. until the time of the service.

 

Please note that due to restrictions of attendance and social distancing being placed on funeral homes by the CDC concerning the containment of COVID-19, please observe their guidelines.

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
