Regina Eileen Turner, age 87, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Turner was born on September 9, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of the late William Ottie Nolan and Sophia Simpson Nolan.

Mrs. Turner worked as an administrative assistant with Hartford Insurance Company, a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean War and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Alan Turner.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Moorman (Ross) of Douglas, GA; four sons, Wayne Turner (Annie) of Dickinson, TX, Robert Turner (Dale) of AZ, David Turner (V’Annie) of Dallas, TX and Mike Turner (Suzie) of Shawnee, Kanas; two sisters, Mary Ann Gilley (Tom) of New Jersey and Sophie Trillich of New Jersey; brother, Bill Nolan of AZ; eleven grandchildren.

Memorialization is by cremation.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
