Mrs. Linda Elaine Teixeira Gomez, 59 of Broxton, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at her residence with her loved ones by her side. She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. She was born in Hartford, CT on February 21, 1961 to the late Manuel Teixeira and Maria Netto.
Mrs. Gomez is survived by her husband, Steven Gomez of Broxton, GA; daughters Crystal Teixeira (Cullin) of Douglas, GA, Leia Teixeira Mcleod (Nathan) of Douglas, GA, Nicole Gomez Grantham (Melinda) of Alma, GA, and Kristy Robinson (Gator) of Broxton, GA; sisters Dorothy Cauntinho (Joseph) of Acushnet, MA, and Mary Paulich-Paglicclo (Richard) of Rocky Hill, CT; brothers Danny Teixeira (Late Linda) of Douglas, GA, Fernando Teixeira of Winsdorlock, CT, Ernest Teixeira (Katherine) of Broadbrock, CT, James Teixeira (Linda) of Fort Myers, FL and Gabe Teixeira of Broadbrock, CT; eight grandchildren, four great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other family members also survive.
Other than her parents Mrs. Gomez is preceded in death by her brother, Arnold Teixeira; mother-in-law Marjorie Newbern; and best friend Gloria Williams.
