Mrs. Wanda Baker Hutcheson, age 84 of Douglas, passed away Monday afternoon, June 8, 2020 at The Landings following an extended illness. Mrs. Hutcheson was born November 28, 1935 to the late Elbert Baker and the late Ruby Davis Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Louis Baker, Billy Baker, Gilman Baker and Wayne Baker.

Mrs. Hutcheson, a native of Coffee County, was a homemaker. She attended West Ward Church of God and First Assembly of God.

Survivors include: Her husband of 67 years, Paul Hutcheson of Douglas, GA; children DeWayne Hutcheson and wife Sheryl, Delaine Morris and husband Carl, and Randall K. “Rufus” Hutcheson all of Douglas, GA; sisters Faye Vaughn and Jean Cato, both of Douglas, GA; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be Friday afternoon, June 12, 2020, at 4:00 P.M. at West Ward Church of God with Rev. Britt Peavy and Rev. Marshall Adcock officiating. The entombment will be in the family mausoleum at Douglas City Cemetery.

Active pallbearers for the service will be: Kade Hutcheson, Bran Hutcheson, Zane Spivey, Hunter Spivey, Todd Winkler and Van Wilson.

Please note that due to restrictions of attendance and social distancing of six feet apart concerning the containment of COVID-19 please observe their guidelines. Please wear your mask to the church.
