Elmarie G. Vickers, age 73, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Vickers was born on September 18, 1946, in Pearson, GA to Lonnie Bryant and Ruby Hawkins Bryant.

Survivors include: Husband, Wade Vickers of Douglas, GA; daughter, Virginia Jewell of Douglas, GA; grandchild, Braxton Jewell; grandchild, M. J. Jewell; sister, Betty (Daniel) Anderson of West Green, GA; great-grandchild, Henlee Rose Jewell; great-grandchild, Hollyn Ruby Jewell; great-grandchild, Harper Ruth Jewell; great-grandchild, Haisley Reece Jewell; great-grandchild, Merrill Baker Wade Jewell; great-grandchild, Josie Ray Swanniec; niece, Susie Halpin; niece, Karen Relaford; nephew, Timmy Anderson. She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Bryant; mother, Ruby Hawkins Bryant; first husband, James “Jim” Walter Gurley.

 

The family will receive friends Monday, June 22, 2020 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Anchor Fellowship Church. 

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm Anchor Fellowship Church, with Rev. Scott Smith officiating.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
