Geneva Yarberry-Newsom, age 88, of Ambrose, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Yarberry-Newsom was born on November 13, 1931, to Clifton Thomas and Dovie Snipes Thomas.
Her survivors include: Husband, Henry Newsom of Ambrose, GA; daughter, Patsy Curry of Welborn, FL; daughter, Sharon (Pete) Bunyard of Ambrose, GA; son, Randall Yarberry of Douglas, GA; son, Ricky Yarberry of Ambrose, GA; brother, Dan (Linda) Thomas of Wilsonville, GA; sister, Vermelle Atkinson of Valdosta, GA; eight grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifton Thomas; mother, Dovie Snipes Thomas; and husband, John A Yarberry.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00AM at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Carroll Carver officiating.
