Mr. Bobby Gene Strickland, 81 of Douglas, passed away on June 30, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 11, 1939 to the late Carlton Edward Strickland and Sarah Jane Kight.
Mr. Strickland is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia Louise Strickland of Douglas, Ga.; son Rodney Strickland of Douglas, GA; daughter Janet Capps (Benji) of Douglas, GA; granddaughters Haley Strickland of Douglas, GA, Amy Hodge (Slater) of Douglas, GA, Anna Capps of Douglas, GA and Chelsea Mathews of Douglas, GA; grandson Shaun Capps (Mindy) of Alma, GA and Bryan Strickland of Douglas, GA; sisters Angie Lee Diggers and Carolyn Lott; brother Carl Strickland; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents Mr. Strickland is preceded in death by his brother, Earl Strickland.
Funeral services will be held Friday July 3, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.
