Mr. Ronnie Spivey, age 67 of Nicholls, passed away Sunday night, July 12, 2020, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Spivey was born October 26, 1952 to the late Leonard Spivey and the late Ada Carver Spivey. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Spivey, a sister, Wanda Steedley, and four brothers, James L. Spivey, Carl Spivey, Alvin Spivey and Harvey Spivey.

Mr. Spivey, a native of Bacon County, was a self-employed farmer.

Survivors include: Daughter: Sandy Marie Gonzales of Nicholls, GA; son, Randall Martin Spivey of Louisiana; sister Veritha Moore of Willacoochee, GA; nephew Jimmy C. Bowen of Albany, GA; niece Tracie Moore of Cordele, GA; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The graveside service and interment will be Thursday afternoon, July 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Cumorah Cemetery with Rev. Walt DeLoach officiating.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening, July 15, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home. Please wear your mask during visitation for the safety of all attending.

Please note that due to restrictions of attendance and six feet social distancing being placed on funeral homes by the CDC and the State of Georgia concerning the containment of COVID-19, please observe their guidelines.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
