James Edsel Carver, age 55, of Broxton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Mr. Carver was born on June 5, 1965 in Coffee County, Georgia, the son of Marie Merritt Carver and the late James Henderson Carver.

 

Mr. Carver was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

 

Survivors include his mother, Marie M. Carver of Douglas, GA; two sons, Gavin Carver of Broxton, GA and Grayson Carver of Broxton, GA; two sisters, Reva Catherine Carver of Brunswick, GA and Janet Carver Ross (Keith) of Brunswick, GA; several nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held on Monday August 3, 2020 at 11:00am at Carvers Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Den Weniger officiating.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and wear protective masks in accordance with the guidelines concerning the coronavirus.
