Mr. Harry Branch Hightower, age 86 of Ambrose, passed away Monday afternoon, August 3, 2020 at his residence following a short illness. Mr. Hightower was born September 24, 1933 to the late Roy Hightower and the late Florence Althea McDonald Hightower. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Roy Hightower, Maurice Hightower and Thomas Hightower.
Mr. Hightower, a native of Lowndes County, had been employed in construction by Acousti Engineering. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
Survivors include: His wife of 58 years, Charldine McKinnon Hightower of Ambrose, GA; children Tammy Hightower of Montreal, Canada, Tracy Hightower of Douglas, GA, and David Hightower of Ambrose, GA; grandchild Kayla Hightower of Anderson, SC; great grandchild Olivia Moseley of Anderson, SC; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Memorialization is by cremation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
