Janet Grace McCullar, 70

Janet Grace McCullar, born on November 4, 1950 in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away peacefully Monday, August 31, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

 

She was a dedicated employee of Fairhaven Convalescent and Shady Acres Nursing Home for 22 years.

 

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Willis C. McCullar, her father, George Cinqueqrana and mother, Anna Cinquegrana Barile. She was born to a large family of seven brothers and five sisters.

 

Mrs. McCullar is survived by her four children, Billy Wayne McCullar (Tanja), Christa M. Sewell (Shawn), Tracy L. Stephens (Terry) and Patricia Ann Rhymes (Sean); she was a loving mother and grandmother. She has 26 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; two brothers-in-laws David White (Deena) and Edwin E. White; an abundance of nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 2:00pm at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating. Interment will follow at Satilla Memorial Gardens.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
