Mr. Franklin William Bennett, age 78 of Pearson, Ga., passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at his home in Pearson, Ga. following an extended illness.

 

Survivors include:

 

Sons:  Buddy Bennett and wife Arlene of Pearson, Ga. and Jeff Bennett of Pearson, Ga.

 

Grandchildren:  Morgan Carter and husband Barry, Nick Bennett and girlfriend Taylor Harris, Daisy Bennett, Lake Foster, Candra Murray and husband Ethan, and Lydia Metts and husband Stewart.

 

Great-grandchildren who loved Big Pa dearly:  Kaden, Channing, Bella, Audree, Trinity, Tanner, William, and Lynleigh.

 

Brother:  Jack Bennett of Pearson, Ga.

 

Sisters:  Elizabeth Taft and husband Fred of Axson, Ga., Virginia Horton and husband Olen of Willacoochee, Ga., Marie Stevenson of Homerville, Ga., Morning Smith of Douglas, Ga.

 

Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Bennett will be held, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home with Rev. Sim Youngblood and Rev. J.A. Anderson officiating.  The interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.

 

Visitation for Mr. Bennett will be held Monday, September 21, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including social distancing.

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
