Becky Adams Goodman, aged 76, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020.

 

Becky was born in May of 1944 in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating from high school she moved to Chicago, Illinois where she worked first for Prudential Financial, and later as a flight attendant with United Airlines.

 

After moving to Douglas, Becky worked for many years at Coffee County Bank before becoming an accountant for Fleetwood Enterprises, working at the Springhill Plant in Pearson and then at the Westfield Plant in Douglas.

 

Becky was preceded in death by parents Julian and Mary, infant son Michael Olan Adams, son Donald Orson Adams Jr., husband Jesse Goodman, and her brother Lionel. She is survived by daughter Karla Adams of St. Louis, Missouri; granddaughter Ashleyn Adams of Douglas, GA; granddaughter Allie Yarberry and her husband Ashley of West Green, GA; great-granddaughters Delta Sixtos, Peyton Yarberry, and Ember Yarberry of West Green, GA; several sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

 

The family requests those who wish to express their sympathy consider make a memorial donation in Becky’s name to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
