Mr. Joe Willie Giddens, age 78 of Pearson, Ga., passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at his home in Pearson, Ga. following a brief illness.
Survivors include:
Son: Ray D. Clement of Pearson, Ga.
Daughter: Kathy Gurley of Millwood, Ga.
Grandchildren: Matt Gurley and wife Michelle of Pearson, Ga., Kortney Gurley of Pearson, Ga., Thomas Clements II of Douglas, Ga.
Great-great grandchildren: Savannah Gurley, Madison Gurley, and Payton Gurley.
Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Giddens will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. at Lang Country Church with Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating. The interment will follow in Arabia Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Giddens will be held Monday, September 28, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to Lang Country Church.
Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including social distancing.
