Ms. LaDonna Michelle Spires Odum, age 48 of Douglas, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 at her residence following a short illness. Ms. Odum was born September 14, 1972 to Beverly Kay Phillips Spires and the late Donnie L. Spires.

Ms. Odum, a native of Coffee County, had been employed with Coffee Regional Medical Center, Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross and Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald as a PRN. She attended Chatterton Holiness Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

Son: Erick Blake Crosby of Flint, Michigan

Mother: Beverly Kay Phillips Spires of Douglas, GA

Brother: Greg Spires of Douglas, GA

Nieces: Haley Spires of Douglas, GA
Cheyenne Taylor and Shelby Hutto, both of Alma, GA

A number of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends

The funeral service will be Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Chatterton Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Rob Merritt and Rev. Tim Mock officiating. The interment will follow in Chatterton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, October 8, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Chatterton Holiness Baptist Church.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Bobby Spires, Harley Spires, Clay Spires and Austin Phillips

Musical selections will be provided by CD music.

Please note, due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, service and the gravesite. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
