Mary Jo Lott, age 86, of Ambrose, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Lott was born on October 6, 1933 in Ambrose, Georgia the daughter of the late Cecil D. Boggan Sr. and Mary Grantham Boggan.

 

Mrs. Lott was a homemaker and a member of Westwood Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlie Frances Hodge and Wannell Stewart and four brothers, Brown Boggan, James Boggan, Tommy Wade Boggan and Cecil Boggan Jr.

 

Survivors include her husband, Denzel M. Lott of Ambrose, GA; two sons, Stanley Lott (Vette) of Ambrose, GA and Wesley Lott (Holly) of Ambrose, GA; six grandchildren, Tyler Lott, Logan Lott, Adam Lott, Jacob Lott, Jennifer Lott Hooper and Megan Lott; seven great grandchildren, Hollynn Lott, Wes Lott, Will Lott, Hudson Lott, Hallie Lott, Elizabeth Hooper and Caroline Hooper.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 11:00am at Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. George Carroll Paulk, Rev. Rodney Courson and Rev. Jack Chaney officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Lott, Jacob Lott, Adam Lott, Wes Lott, Will Lott and Hudson Lott.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westwood Baptist Church 2650 Youngie Fussell Sr Dr.,Ambrose, GA 31512 or a charity of your choice.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
