Mr. Fredrick Daniel Merritt, 63 of Willacoochee, passed away on October 13, 2020 under the care of Coffee Regional Medical Center. He was born to the late Dan Merritt and Betty Lou Bostic.

 

Mr. Merritt is a veteran of the United States Army and worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator.

 

He is survived by:

 

Brothers: Jimmy Darrell Merritt of Ambrose, Joe Merritt (Dedra) of Douglas and Anthony Merritt (Patsy) of Douglas

 

Sisters: Bridgette Wampler of Ambrose, Dana Flanagan (Jackie) of Douglas and Cece Brigmond (Kenny) of Broxton.

 

Several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.

 

Other than his parents, Mr. Merritt is preceded in death by his brother, Dan Michael Merritt.

 

A graveside service will take place Saturday, October 17, 2020, 4:00 PM at Elam Harper Cemetery.

 

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
