Dr. Daniel C. “Danny” Taylor, age 67 of Nicholls, GA, passed away late Tuesday evening, October 27, 2020 at the home of his nephew, John Christopher Campbell, following an extended illness. Mr. Taylor was born November 29, 1952 to the late Wilma Taylor McElhaney. Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by siblings Ronnie Taylor, Russell McElhaney and Johnny McElhaney
Dr. Taylor, a native of Atlanta, GA, had been a teacher with the Coffee County Board of Education and Bacon County Board of Education. He had received his RN degree from South Georgia State College, and he had also received his Doctorate in Education Administration from Valdosta State University. Dr. Taylor was a member of GEA. He was a US Army veteran having served his country for four years during the Vietnam War.

Tommy McElhaney of Douglas, GA
Several nieces, nephews including John Christopher Campbell, and other family members.
Memorialization is by cremation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
