Mrs. Johnnie Kate Jones Daniel, age 76 of Douglas, passed away Wednesday morning, October 28, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Daniel was born February 9, 1944 to the late Jordan H. Jones and the late Bessie Mae Acorn Jones. She was preceded in death by brothers Melvin LaVon Jones and Samuel Curtis Jones.

Mrs. Daniel, a native of Coffee County, had been self-employed as a beautician, serving a large clientele throughout her years of service. She was a member of West Ward Church of God.

Survivors include:

Her husband of 58 years: Jesse Alvin “J. A.” Daniel of Douglas, GA

Sons: Al Daniel, III and wife Candy of Douglas, GA
Tim Daniel and wife Renee of Tifton, GA
Jeffrey Daniel and wife Staci of Valdosta, GA

Brother: Ray Jones of Ambrose, GA

Sisters: Elma Spivey and husband Rev. Leroy of Douglas, GA
Clarine Harrell and husband James of Nicholls, GA

Sisters-in-law: Madeline Jones of Valdosta, GA
Joan Miller of Clewiston, FL

Brother-in-law: Johnny Daniel and wife Peggy of Douglasville, GA

10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The graveside service and interment will be Friday morning, October 30, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Satilla Memorial Gardens with Rev. Craig Jump officiating and Aaron Daniel presenting a eulogy.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Jordan Daniel, Aaron Daniel, Seth Daniel, Justin Harrell, Randy Harrell, Keith Harrell, Trent Harrell, Noah Daniel and Chris Woods

Everyone attending the service is asked to meet at Satilla Memorial Gardens.

Please note, due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the graveside service. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines. We do not furnish mask.
