Annie Sue Justice Blankenship, 83

Ms. Annie Sue Justice Blankenship, age 83 of Broxton, GA, passed away late Tuesday evening, November 3, 2020, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Ms. Blankenship was born July 14, 1937 to the late Jack J. Justice and the late Alma Cato Justice. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. R. Blankenship; a daughter, Elaine B. Rish; brothers, Clifford Justice and Frank Justice; and sisters, Mildred Willis, Vermelle Kelly and Marilyn Seabeck.

Ms. Blankenship, a native of Coffee County, was a retired kindergarten parapro and also a retired school bus driver with the Coffee County Board of Education. She was a member of DeBerry Baptist Church but also attended Broxton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include:

Children: Jackie Blankenship and wife Becky of McRae, GA
Randy Blankenship and wife Pat of New Port Richey, FL
Deborah Stone of Walterboro, SC
Lisa Walker of Denton, GA

Brothers: Homer Justice and wife Linda of Broxton, GA
Carl Justice of Douglas, GA

Grandchildren: Tara Carver (Michael), Bridgett R. Biering (Scott), Brandon Rish (Christy), Brad Rish (Betsy), Brett Rish (Ashley), Mae Leigh Lipes, Michael Stone (Maddie), Cliff Walker (Amy) and Mandy Loyola (Vergel)

13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends

The graveside service and interment were held Saturday morning, November 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM at DeBerry Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hudson officiating.

Pallbearers were: Brandon Rish, Brett Rish, Brad Rish, Kyle Whilden, Cliff Walker and Michael Carver.

Please note, due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the graveside service and visitation. Please wear your mask for safety precautions, and in accordance with CDC guidelines. We do not furnish masks.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
