Mr. Buddy Edward Corbitt, age 83, of Pearson, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020, surrounded by his loving family, at his home following an extended illness.

 

Survivors include:

 

Wife:  Betty Sue Corbitt of Pearson, Ga.

 

Sons:  James Corbitt and wife, Bonnie of Pearson, Ga.

Jimmy Corbitt and wife, Melissa of Pearson, Ga.

 

Daughters:  Barbara Clement and husband, Stanley of Willacoochee, Ga.

Jan Mitchell and husband, Johnny of Brunswick, Ga.

 

Grandchildren:  John, Reese, Haley and John Thomas Mitchell, Gage Corbitt and wife, Shea, Emily Corbitt and Jimmy Cade Corbitt, Drew and Bryce Corbitt

 

Great-grandson:  Jace Corbitt

 

Three step-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Corbitt will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Ozias Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.  The interment will follow in Ozias Cemetery.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including social distancing.

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
