Mr. Arlie Ervin Ruis, age 68 of Alma, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, following an extended illness. Mr. Ruis was born April 8, 1952 to the late Bertice Lee Ruis and the late Ada Wilma Walkup Ruis.

Mr. Ruis, a native of Coffee County, was a tile setter by trade. He was of the Pentecoastal faith.

Survivors include a brother, Roy Earl Ruis of Norcross, GA; and several nieces and nephews, including Donald Vaughn of Villa Rica, GA.

The graveside service and interment will be Wednesday morning November 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Lone Hill Cemetery with Rev. James Guthrie, Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, November 17, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.

All family and friends that will attend the service will meet at Lone Hill Cemetery on Wednesday morning November 18, 2020 by 11:00 AM.

Please note: due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the graveside service. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines. We do not furnish masks.
