Marvie Reliford, age 69, of Broxton, Georgia passed away on Sunday November 15, 2020. Mrs. Reliford was born on June 10, 1951 in Live Oak, Florida, the daughter to the late Rufus and Doris Murray.

 

Mrs. Reliford worked for Campbell’s Foods and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie E. Reliford Sr. and a daughter, Patricia Reliford.

 

Survivors include two sons, Lonnie E. Reliford (Donna) of Tifton, GA and Charles E. Reliford (Karen) of Douglas, GA; sister, Elizabeth Blackmon of Winter Haven, FL; two brothers, Kenneth Benefield of Adel, GA and Charles Murray of Nashville, GA; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held on Thursday November 19, 2020 at 11:00am at Royals Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Sims Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Ellis, James Ellis, Jamie Ellis, David Reliford, John Reliford and Timothy Anderson.

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face-masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.  Masks are not provided.
