Carolyn Minix, age 78, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Mrs. Minix was born on January 5, 1942 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late Homer Penn and Mattie Thomas Penn.

 

Mrs. Minix worked at Golden Poultry and was a member of Trinity Non-Denominational Church, Douglas, GA.

 

Survivors include her; two sons, Don Graham and Dan Graham both of Broxton, GA; nephew, Bruce Kinnard Sr (Tammy) of Douglas, GA; four grandchildren; great niece and nephew (who were her caretakers), Bruce Kinnard Jr and wife Anna.

 

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 9:30am until 10:45am at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:00am at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Crenshaw, Lonnie Batten, Billy Harper, Bruce Kinnard Jr, Michael Lewis and Derick Carter.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
