Eugene Everett Davis, age 88, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, at residence.  Mr. Davis was born on May 2, 1932, in Nashville, GA to the late William Oren Davis and Velma Linnie Gaskins Davis. Mr. Davis had served in the Korea War and was a building inspector for Coffee County Commissioners’ office.

 

Survivors include: Daughter, Rhonda Kay (Carlton) O’Neal of Douglas, GA, Grandchildren, Carla Melissa O’Neal, James Carlton O’Neal, Jr., Andrew Warren O’Neal.   Brother, Vernon (Juanita) Davis of Howell, GA, Sister, Latrell Rogers of Alapaha, GA.  Several Nieces and Nephews and grandchildren. He was a preceded by a son, Donnie Eugene Davis.

 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 2pm, Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Britt Peavy officiating.

 

Interment will take place at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

In leu of flowers, memorials can be made to The to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility. Mask are not provided.
