Paul Jimenez, age 84, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday December 1, 2020 at Dorminey Medical Center, Fitzgerald, Georgia. Mr. Jimenez was born on August 6, 1936 in Ramsey, Texas the son of the late Victor Garcia-Jimenez and Jesusa Salazar.

 

Mr. Jimenez retired from the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War and was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melba Lott Jimenez, brother, Jessie Jimenez and three sisters, Angie Hermann, Lucy Contreras and Mona Delos Santos.

 

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Burns (Mike) of Warner Robins, GA and Sheri Dees (Danny) of Willacoochee, GA; son, Joseph Jimenez of Douglas, GA; six grandchildren, Timmy Swift, Tommy Swift, Dane Caskin, Christopher Grantham, Jacob Dees and Sonya Powell (Marion); eight great grandchildren, Taylor Swift, Kylan Swift, Jayden Swift, Aston Grantham, Aiden Grantham, McKenzy Powell, Riley Swift and Paisley Powell; two sisters, Antonia Ramirez and Josephine Montemayor both of Eagle Lakes, TX; several nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services with Military Honors by United States Air Force Honor Guard will be held on Saturday December 5, 2020 at 1:00pm at Hebron Church Cemetery with Rev. Willie Wilson and Rev. Casey Wright officiating. Pallbearers will be USAF Timmy Swift, Tommy Swift, Jacob Dees, Marvin Powell, Johnathan Lott and Holland Lott.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
