Mr. Albert “Al” W. Williams, Jr., age 85 of Pearson, Ga., passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas following an extended illness.

 

Survivors include:

 

Wife:  Callie Gurley Williams of Pearson, Ga.

 

Sons:  Tim Williams and wife Tamara of Hoboken, Ga.

Mike Pittman of Nichols, Ga.

Darrell Pittman and wife Denise of Pearson, Ga.

 

Daughters:  Donna Jordan and husband Buddy of Broxton, Ga.

Lisa Bess of Charleston, S.C.

Louise Carter and husband Raymond of Blackshear, Ga.

Wanda Dukes of Hoboken, Ga.

 

Sisters:  Sherry McDonald of Walterboro, S.C.

Patricia Ray and husband James of Quincy, Fl.

Myrtle Myer of Barnwell, S.C.

 

10 Grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

 

Graveside funeral service for Mr. Williams will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. in Sunnyside Church Cemetery with Rev. Teddy Burch, Rev. Sim Youngblood, and Rev. Buddy Jordan officiating. The interment will follow in Sunnyside Church Cemetery.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
