Mr. James Benjamin “Ben” Ricketson, age 60 of Douglas, passed away late Tuesday evening December 22, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Ricketson was born March 28, 1960 to June Gillis Ricketson Tanner and the late Allen Ricketson. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Ricketson and one nephew Dave Temple.
Mr. Ricketson, a native of Douglas, GA, had been employed with Ricketson Poultry. He was of the Baptist faith.

The graveside service and interment will be Sunday afternoon, December 27, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Carver Cemetery with Brother Dwayne Gillis officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, December 27, 2020 from 1:45 to 2:45 at Carver Baptist Church
Active pallbearers for the service will be: Wade Tanner, Isaiah Curtis, Scott Gillis, Don Gillis, Drew Shook, Lon Gillis, Ronnie Nobles and Jackie Flanagan.
