Melinda absolutely loved basketball, and in recent months, or so, nothing brought her greater joy than watching her son, Luke, play in JV games and her nieces, Abbie and London, play varsity basketball at CCA. Recently she worked as a dietician at Coffee Regional Medical Center and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by a son, Levi Cason Rudd.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Rudd of Douglas, GA; daughter, Bailey Davis of Douglas, GA; son, Luke Rudd of Douglas, GA; parents, Dan and Susan O’Steen of Ambrose, GA; sister, Deanna Morgan of Levettown, PA; two brothers, Danny O’Steen (Angie) of Ambrose, GA and Ted O’Steen (Jill) Ambrose, GA; several nieces and nephews.
